A hundred years from now it will not matter what my bank account was, the sort of house I lived in, or the kind of car I drove… but the world may be different because I was important in the life of a child.
– Forest E. Witcraft

Everyone – man or woman – had someone in their childhood who believed in them. For hundreds of girls, it’s the people they meet at Girls Incorporated of Dothan who make that difference in their life. At Girls Inc., we provide girls with a safe space in which they can learn about themselves and their community and express who they are, what they care about, and what they want to accomplish in the world.

The board and staff of Girls Incorporated of Dothan are proud of the diverse, educational and fun programming that we offer girls in our community. The single most important aspect is the way our organization touches the life of every girl and creates amazing outcomes. The impact of Girls Inc. on a girl’s life – socially, physically, and educationally – is stunning. She will gain self confidence and the understanding of her unique, valuable place in her community. And she’ll lead others to make her community better.

Though our mission is to inspire all girls to be strong, smart and bold, it is truly the girls who inspire us. With the empowerment they gain from our programming, Girls Inc. participants are leading themselves into a bright and rewarding future.
