The national Girls Inc. organization offers a scholarship for girls in 11th & 12th grade that were involved in Girls Inc. as a participant AND a volunteer. This year, Girls Inc. of Dothan had 3 girls apply. We are SO VERY PROUD to announce that not only were we the only affiliate nation wide (out of 27 affiliates that applied) that won all applications that were submitted – Ariel T. won $15,000 in scholarship monies, Ashley C. and Alexis C. won $2,500 each. You girls ARE strong, smart and bold, AND we couldn’t have picked three better high school seniors to represent our organization as Girls Inc. National Scholars!!
